Welcome to Fair Street International Academy!

I am so glad you stopped by! As I begin my 5th year as principal of Fair Street International Academy and my 31st year in education, I continue to feel incredibly honored and humbled  to serve such an amazing school community rooted deep in Gainesville traditions. Fair Street is truly a special place where students are known, loved, challenged, and inspired every single day by an exceptional team of educators and staff who are deeply committed to children and families.

At Fair Street, we believe every child deserves a learning experience filled with joy, opportunity, creativity, and connection. Our school is a place where teaching and learning are always the priority. You will find me in classrooms daily working alongside teachers and students because I believe strong instruction, meaningful relationships, and student engagement are the foundation of student success. We are equally committed to supporting the social-emotional well-being of our students while helping them grow academically and personally.

From clubs, PBIS celebrations, literacy nights, musicals, leadership opportunities, cultural experiences, family engagement events, and community partnerships, there is always something exciting happening at Fair Street. We are proud to be a 3-time PBIS Distinguished School, recognized for creating a positive school culture where students and staff thrive together. One of our proudest accomplishments has been being selected as 1 of only 100 schools nationwide to participate in Disney’s Musicals in Schools program, giving our students the opportunity to shine on stage while building confidence, creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Parent and family engagement is something we deeply celebrate at Fair Street. As a bilingual principal, I believe communication and strong partnerships with families and the local community  are essential. As a team,  are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where all families feel connected, supported, and valued as part of our school family. 

At Fair Street International Academy, we celebrate diversity, inspire excellence, and create magical learning experiences for all children. We remain true to the Fair Street- Butler High School traditions and have transformed them so they are relevant to the students in our building and for generations to come.
